Abgeschliffen durch diktatorische Prozesse hat man sich \u201egeeinigt\u201c. Das Monument wird zum Allgemeinwohl erkl\u00e4rt. Die Kanten und Ecken wurden sorgf\u00e4ltig entfernt. Monumente sind am Ende Monstren im Stadtraum. Als Relikte und Wegweiser demonstrieren sie den Schlusspunkt ihrer Epoche. Ihr Versuch die Weltherrschaft zu manifestieren wirkt nicht b\u00f6se eher hilflos, sogar sympathisch. Ihr Sturz ist Teil ihrer inneren Logik. Das gro\u00dfe Scheitern am Motiv scheint ein wesentlicher Antrieb f\u00fcr die Autorenschaft zu sein. Es entstehen meisterliche Interpretationen einer Realit\u00e4t, die so nicht ist. Der Portr\u00e4tierte erscheint uns als Karikatur. Etwas entr\u00fcckt schauen die B\u00fcsten uns fragend an. Ihre Eitelkeit hat sie so positioniert.\u201c<\/p>\n<p><strong>CHRISTIAN VAN HEUCHEL<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Christian Heuchel hat an der Elite-Universit\u00e4t Karlsruhe und an der Kunstakademie D\u00fcsseldorf Architektur und Baukunst studiert. Seine Professoren waren Jo Coenen, Dieter Kienast, Ernst Kasper, Elia Zenghelis, Josef Kleihues und Laurids Ortner.
